Rev. Dr. Doug Meye serves as the Mission Strategy Director and the Lead for Developing Pastors and New Church Planting for Transformation Ministries.   

He attended Wheaton College and earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies.  Later Doug enrolled as a student at Fuller Seminary where he met his wife, Pat, and together they graduated in 1980. His first full-time ministry position was at First Baptist, Chino, CA, where he served as an associate pastor focusing most of his time on student ministries.

In 1986, Doug and Pat planted Warm Springs Baptist Church as co-pastors.  After three years of ministry together, Doug became the Lead Pastor, and served in this capacity for twenty years.  Although he was in the same church for twenty years, he will tell you that he had the experience of pastoring a number of different churches: a church plant, a single-cell church, a multi-staff church, and a plateaued church. He will also tell you he has learned more from his mistakes than success.

After leaving Warm Springs, Doug served as the interim Pastor at First Baptist Church of Ventura and pursued his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Seminary. His project is entitled, "Increasing Ministry Excellence Through Participation in Pastor Mentor Groups." After his the interim ministry at Ventura, Doug joined the staff of Transformation Ministries. 

He would love to write a book, but for now contents himself with an occasional blog. Doug and Pat continue to reside in Henderson, NV. They have two grown children, David (23) and Kristin (Meye) Jenkins (21).
