Highlights of the December 2007 Board Meeting:

  • Three (3) churches that have not previously been a part of the Ministry have applied for membership with Transformation Ministries
  • The Board and Staff celebrated Dr. Dale Salico's 10th Anniversary with Transformation Ministries 
  • It was reported that over 650 individuals attended the October 2007 Transforming Churches Conference in Riverside, California
  • The 2008 Transforming Churches Conference theme will move us into the practical applications of the future church - picking up where the 2007 conference ended
  • Only one offering will be collected in 2008 - Advance:08 in late Spring/early Summer
  • The Board accepted, with regret, the withdrawal request of Cambridge Drive Community Church, Goleta, California, from Transformation Ministries

 Board of Directors exists to:

  • Give general oversight and direction to the life and mission of Transformation Ministries, setting policy in the areas of program functions, planning, coordination, and evaluation, and adopting goals and objectives;
  • Elect or appoint certain officers of Transformation Ministries, various committees, commissions, task forces, divisions, or other units of the Board of Directors and other bodies;
  • Budget and appropriate funds necessary for the operation thereof and adopt such managerial procedures as it may deem proper, including those for the control, management, investment, acquisition, and disposition of the real and personal property of Transformation Ministries; appoint an independent CPA to audit the financial affairs of the corporation, annually.
  • Adopt such procedures and processes as it may deem proper relating to the adoption, amendment, and termination of any covenants, to which Transformation Ministries may be or become a party;
  • Prepare an Annual Report for review at the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors and the Transformation Ministries Annual Conference, which shall be verified by a majority of the members of the Board or certified by an independent CPA selected by the Board; and 
  • Several other duties are described in the Transformation Ministries Bylaws.
