From the Spiritual Formation Retreat
At Thousand Pines Christian Camp

L3, Learning to Live and Lead like Jesus, is a leadership initiative in its second year of life with 107 students in 8 Transformation Ministries congregations. The last weekend in October, 105 participants came together at Thousand Pines for an overnight Spiritual Formation Retreat.  What follows are excerpts from comments made by some of the participants...

"The quality of the L3 material, the competence of the presenters, and the commitment of our Fellow Travelers combined to create a dynamic weekend. As I sat in the Coffee Shop around 11:00 p.m., I watched as most of our church board poured out their thoughts, hopes, and dreams for themselves and our church. I am excited about the journey we are taking... and am curious to see where we will be two years from now."
