Church Resource Minister

Rev. Dr. G. Ross Chenot After serving six years as the Associate Pastor of the University Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California, Dr. Chenot became the founding pastor of the First American Baptist Church of Fontana, California. He successfully pastored this church plant/restart for thirteen years. In 1995 Ross joined the staff of the American Baptist Churches of the Pacific Southwest, renamed Transformation Ministries, where he currently serves as Church Resource Minister, offering region level support to the Golden Empire, Central Coast, Foothill and Ventura Associations. His portfolio also includes New Church Planting for Transformation Ministries.

Dr. Chenot is happily married to Carol, author of "The Leaderbuilder," and they have two grown sons. Ross holds his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is an avid cyclist and has pedaled coast-to-coast on two occasions.
